How They Work

As water rises, U.S. Flood Defense System's barriers are kept in place due to the weight of water, which presses the L-shaped barriers into the ground below and against the adjacent panel, providing ballast, increasing the seal and enhancing grip. The foam seals on the underside and edge of each U.S. Flood Defense System's barriers work to minimize potential leakage of water while flood panels are deployed.
